Naples City Dock Project
One of Naples’ recently renovated attractions is the city’s newly rebuilt dock. The Naples City Dock is a well-maintained, large marina and is considered to be the home of the largest charter fishing fleet in the area. Its expansive dock boasts 84 slips, including some that can accommodate up to 60-foot deep water vessels. The marina is at the heart of “Old Florida” or “Old Naples,” walking distance from the Crayton Cove district as well as many shops and restaurants, making it the perfect place to take a stroll to soak in the local culture. Visitors can enjoy an immersive experience through the marina’s boat tour package where they can get a chance to see dolphins and seabirds up close while enjoying the view of the Gulf out on water.
When the Naples City Dock was rebuilt, Saint Raphael Roofing was contracted to install roofing on three newly built structures within the marina: a restroom and laundry facility, gazebo, and dockmaster. Standing seam metal roofing was chosen for this project due to its superior durability in the salty high wind coastal conditions. Aluminum metal roofing also resists rusting better than other roofing materials and requires minimal maintenance. With the high quality standing seam aluminum roofing installed, the newly renovated Naples City Dock buildings took on an attractive look with a roof that will hold up to the coastal conditions on the scenic Gulf coast for decades to come.
