The hatch’s security is maintained by it’s heavy gauge structure and positive latching mechanism.

Weathertightness is ensured by the overlapping cover design, complete welded corners on the cover and curb, EPDM rubber gasket, and fully insulated cover and curb which also improves energy efficiency.
