Steve Olesen

Sales Manager

Steve is a Sales Manager for Saint Raphael Roofing. He has been with the company for 6 years and has a strong background in Consumer and Commercial Sales along with technical skills in welding and fabrication. Steve is involved with all types of sales in the company; residential, commercial, repair, replacement, and new construction. Along with meeting with homeowners, providing estimates, and answering questions, Steve also works to manage and strengthen relationships with custom and commercial builders. He loves meeting new people and developing long term relationships with new clients. Built on a foundation of trust and integrity, Steve’s friendly nature has enabled him to maintain those relationships and win many sales awards throughout his career.

Since joining the company, Steve has studied and learned about the many types of residential and commercial roofs and the products from which they are built. He provides thorough estimates and communicates well with his co-workers and customers.

Steve is a true team player and strives to bring continuous improvement to his work and the company. He has helped bring new technology to Saint Rafael Roofing, working in partnership with others to implement new sales and client software and begin providing inspections using drones.

Customers and designers love the detailed inspection provided by the drone and it now allows the ability to observe water flow on a roof when it is not safe for in-person observation. Steve expects this technology to develop further, and he has been certified by the FAA as a commercial drone pilot. He readily shares his knowledge and experience with others, helping them develop both personally and professionally.

Trust and character are core parts of successful projects according to Steve. He speaks with confidence to a homeowner as he trusts his Saint Raphael Roofing partners to perform high quality work and treat the client with respect. People buy from people they trust and Steve is able to build trust based on the character and reputation of the company.

Steve is active in his church, providing leadership for the Men’s Ministry and Celebrate Recovery Program. He leads additional Bible Studies in both Spanish and English. Mentoring and sharing is a joy and way of life for Steve. He gains great personal satisfaction from coaching and seeing someone succeed in a way they did not believe to be possible.
